The Israel-Hamas conflict has ravaged the Gaza Strip for 100 days, killing over 23,000 people there, according to data from Hamas-run government media office.

The coastal enclave is suffering from a worsening humanitarian crisis.

"Half of the buildings in Gaza have been destroyed or damaged. Around seventy percent of schools have been destroyed. Fifteen out of thirty-six hospitals in Gaza are still functioning. About 1.9 million Palestinians are internally displaced, and over half a million of them are facing catastrophic hunger and starvation."

"Sunday marks the 100th day of the Israel-Hamas conflict. Large protests, ceremonies and commemorations were held across Israel. Many shops and restaurants launched a 100-minute strike to commemorate the special day and ask the government to secure the return of all hostages being held in Gaza. Universities and hospitals also held ceremonies."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to continue the military campaign in Gaza until "total victory" is achieved.
