The Government of Sao Paulo advances in the generation of clean and renewable energy with the implementation of the largest floating solar plant in the country.
This Wednesday (17), Governor Tarcisio de Freitas delivered the first stage of implementation of the Floating Photovoltaic Plant (UFF Araucaria), at the Billings dam, in the capital. With 10,500 plates on the water surface and an initial investment of R$30 million, the plant has the capacity to produce up to 10 GWh per year from the solar array, equivalent to the consumption of 4,000 homes.
