Stunning ice formations on a frozen lake in Northern Ireland resemble a lunar landscape.

Drone footage captured near Cookstown shows a frozen Lough Fea.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Last day of the cold spell across N. Ireland, Lough Fea was completely frozen over, I could walk on it along the edges.

"Using the drone I could see great patterns in the ice, at times it looked like the view of a spacecraft flying in orbit over another planet's moon-like Europe with frozen volcanoes."
