Israeli Forces Launch Major Operation in West Bank to Neutralize Hamas Threats

The IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police have initiated a broad operation to suppress Hamas activity in the TulKarem refugee camp, targeting the perpetrators of the attack in Ra'anana. Concurrently, 26 wanted individuals were apprehended across Judea and Samaria, as well as in the Jordan Valley region.

As part of the operation led by the Manasseh Brigade in the TulKarem refugee camp, forces are conducting building searches, investigating dozens of suspects, and apprehending wanted individuals. Seven wanted suspects have been arrested thus far, and engineering units have uncovered numerous explosive devices concealed beneath roads, intended to harm the security forces.

During the operation, explosives were thrown, and shots were fired towards the security forces, prompting a response. An aircraft from Unit 636 targeted an armed militant group that posed a threat by hurling explosives, resulting in the elimination of several militants. The activity is ongoing.

In the course of the operation, a reserve soldier in Tulkarm was injured by enemy fire and is receiving medical treatment. In Bnei Naim village, located in the Judea Brigade, fighters identified and searched the homes of the two militants responsible for the attack in Ra'anana, interrogating numerous suspects.

In Beit Anan village in the Binyamin Brigade, forces seized equipment and sealed a printing house producing propaganda materials for the Hamas organization.

Since the start of the conflict, approximately 2,700 wanted individuals have been arrested in Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley region, with over 1,300 affiliated with the Hamas organization.

The apprehended suspects have been transferred for further investigation by security forces.
