A passenger was arrested after he unleashed an aggressive rant directed at flight attendants on a plane headed to Las Vegas from Los Angeles.

Footage captured on January 16 shows a member of staff trying to calm the male passenger down. However, these attempts failed seeing the passenger become irate and start swearing at the air stewards.

"You're crazy! I'm not leaving ever. I'm putting my belt on. They all know. F*** you, fly the f***ing plane now!" The passenger responds after being told he needed to leave the aircraft.

After this tirade, passengers were told over the tannoy that the American Airlines flight would be deplaned.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Making me late to work, and others vacation to VIVA LAS VEGAS. I think he was desperate, we were already one hour late and he started shouting insults at the airline and the flight attendants who wanted him to leave, then they wanted to take him down because that's when I started recording. The police arrested him."

The filmer also claimed the passenger was being racist.
