The city of Beverly Hills and Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles will hold an installation of a temporary art display as a memorial for the victims of the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas in Israel. The art installation includes 1,400 flags, with each flag representing victims from more than 30 nations who died in the attack. It is located in Beverly Gardens Park on North Santa Monica Boulevard, between Cañon and Crescent drives.

Members of the Beverly Hills City Council and Consul General of Israel to the Pacific Southwest, Israel Bachar, will join local clergy at the presentation.

The Consulate General of Israel’s Office first presented the concept of a flag display to the City Council in October. To honor the victims, the city approved two temporary installations
