Pet tortoises tuck into Valentine's Day hearts made from lettuce
These hungry pet sulcata tortoises made an awesome Valentine's Day message - by eating lettuce shaped like two giant green hearts.
Footage shows the adorable little reptiles slowly crawling towards the fresh salad leaves that had been arranged in a sandbox in Lamphun, Thailand.
The African-spurred tortoises munched the leafy vegetable until they finished it up and drank water from a puddle.
The owner said the lunch was the perfect Valentine's Day message.
The sulcata is one of the largest tortoise species in the world. It is native to arid and semi-arid regions of sub-Saharan Africa, where it grazes on grasses, herbs, and other plants.
