In a daring operation over the weekend, IDF soldiers apprehended hundreds of Hamas members and suspects hiding in the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. The soldiers, including forces from the Commando Brigade and ISA, fought complex battles against the terrorists, who had barricaded themselves inside the hospital.

Among those apprehended were Hamas members involved in the October 7th Massacre and individuals connected to Israeli hostages. Weapons, including some hidden in a vehicle used in the massacre, were discovered at the hospital. Additionally, boxes of medicine with the names of Israeli hostages were found, though they had not been transferred to the hostages.

The IDF's mission to return the hostages home continues, with all efforts being made to ensure their safe return. The entry into the hospital was conducted after a warning to cease Hamas activity, and precautions were taken to avoid harming patients and medical staff.

The IDF remains committed to maintaining security in the region and will not rest until the hostages are safely returned.
