Long-Time Couple Celebrates Valentine's Day
Occurred on February 14, 2024 / Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Info from Licensor: "These are my parents. On Valentine’s Day, I came home and found my mom sitting on the living room sofa while my dad was watching TV. Mom was delighted to see me come home and wished me a Happy Valentine’s Day. I saw a bit of sadness in her eyes and told me that my dad had not given her flowers in years. His situation is understandable, as he’s 97 years old and can no longer drive to get these manly things. However, if he could, he would give her the world. As a woman, I agree events like this are sentimental. I felt the emotion that my mom went through and wanted to put a smile on her face. I gave Dad a wrapped rose, and he didn’t hesitate to give it to her in a flash. I told him to stop briefly as he approached her so that I could capture the moment. This was such a natural moment, as I only taped this video once. I too became emotional when I filmed this and had to share this special moment with the world. I only meant to post it for my family and close friends to see, but it became viral within hours. My parents have been happily married for 68 years and have 9 children. They are my inspiration and my true definition of love."
