STORYLINE:
A drama based on Victor Hugo's celebrated novel "Les Miserables" was staged in Shanghai on Friday.
It is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.
According to Joan Valadou, Consul General of France in Shanghai, the play is a good example of China-France cultural exchanges.
