Iraq kicked off the 15th al-Wasiti Fine Arts Festival on Sunday in the capital Baghdad.
Iraqi Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities Ahmed Fakak al-Badrani inaugurated the event at the ministry's headquarters in central Baghdad, where about 230 artworks are displayed.
The event witnessed a significant cultural and official turnout and this year's festival saw broad Arab and international participation.
