LAPD'S Devonshire Division patrol units responded to a shooting at 11628 Lerdo Avenue in Granada Hills.

When officers arrived at the location, they knocked at the door but no one answered. At that point, officers forced entry into the home and were met by a witness who directed the officers toward the deceased victims, according to the LAPD.

The LAPD said the officers discovered one female, approximately 80 years old, one female in her late 40s and one male also in his late 40s, who were all deceased from gunshot wounds. In a different area of the house, a male in his 80s, believed to be the suspect, was found deceased from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This is preliminary information from the ongoing investigation into what the LAPD believes to be a murder-suicide.
