Shuhe Ancient Town is a well-preserved important market town on the ancient Tea Horse Road, and also a living specimen of the Naxi ancestors' transition from agricultural civilization to commercial civilization, with precious cultural relics and buildings such as Ming Dynasty murals, Ming Dynasty architecture Dajue Palace, Qing Dynasty architecture Sansheng Palace. Shuhe Ancient Town is an important part of the World Cultural Heritage Lijiang Old Town, which was listed as "World Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO in 1997.
