In a timely operation, a leopard was rescued by officials of the forest department after its head was stuck inside a vessel in Dhule, Maharashtra.

Visuals showed the creature stuck inside of a metal vessel. The big cat lay on one side of the cowshed and seemingly was exhausted.

Later, forest department officials arrived at the spot and one man was seen sawing open the vessel to free the leopard. Officials held on to the leopard's limbs as the vessel was being broken open. The leopard was seen in a cage and looked fine.

According to a report, the leopard strayed into the cowshed belonging to a man named Krushna Chaure in search of food and water. In an attempt to drink water from the metal vessel, its head was stuck.

After a while of trying to free itself from the metal pot, the leopard became exasperated. Veterinary officials rushed to the spot after receiving information and tranquillized the animal before the vessel was cut open.

The wild animal was later taken to the forest department office and later released after being kept on observation.
