This is the hilarious moment a cheeky pet kitten was caught on camera - climbing onto a kitchen table to steal bacon.

Resident Proceso Sotillo Jr. woke up hungry and discovered that his breakfast had been snatched by one of his cat pets in Laguna, Philippines, on March 14.

Proceso checked CCTV and was shocked to see Panda, a six-month-old exotic munchkin feline, leaping onto the table and briefly checking if the coast was clear before nudging the lid of the dish.

It nibbled on a strip of fried meat on the plate while leaning over it. Then, it darted to the living room to finish the rest.

Moments later, it returned to the table to munch the remaining bacon, leaving just one piece for its owner.

Pras said: 'Our housekeeper couldn't believe that Panda was the culprit since we've never had a cat stealing from the food table.

'I was worried because cats aren't supposed to eat bacon as it's bad for their health, but I couldn't resist his cuteness as he looked like he was on a mission impossible to take the bacon.'
