This footage was filmed and produced 3 March 2024.

In a peculiar twist of events, a bakery in Richmond, Australia, found itself at the center of an unusual burglary incident. Phillippa's Bakery recently revealed surveillance footage capturing a woman engaging in yoga exercises before allegedly breaking into their establishment.

The video showcases the "flexible burglar" demonstrating impressive yoga poses outside the bakery premises. Dressed inconspicuously in all black attire, including boots, ripped jeans, and a leather jacket, the woman's pre-burglary routine involved stretching out her legs and upper body in the parking lot.

"We were quite surprised when we saw the security footage from a recent break-in at our Bakery HQ. Seems like yoga is a must before breaking in," expressed the bakery.

Despite the whimsical nature of the incident, the bakery reported the theft of several items, including hot cross buns, croissants, an iPad, and shoes. The burglary occurred on March 3, prompting swift action from authorities.

Reports indicate that the 44-year-old suspect was apprehended and charged with theft and burglary in connection with the incident, underscoring the serious consequences of her whimsical prelude to crime.
