In a bold operation aimed at dismantling Hamas infrastructure, Israeli commandos are currently engaged in intense combat operations in the El Amal neighborhood of Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip.

Members of Unit 202, under the command of Givati Brigade, have been deployed to the area, conducting sweeping operations to root out Hamas cells and neutralize threats posed by Hamas militants. The El Amal neighborhood, known for its association with Hamas activity, has become the focal point of the latest offensive by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Following extensive reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, IDF forces have launched targeted raids to disrupt and dismantle Hamas networks operating in the area. Combat engineers are also deployed to scan and neutralize explosive devices and fortifications used by Hamas operatives to stage attacks against Israeli civilians and military personnel.

During the operation, Israeli commandos uncovered a cache of weapons and equipment belonging to Hamas militants. Among the seized items were Kalashnikov rifles, ammunition stockpiles, grenades, communication devices, and computers used for organizing and coordinating activities.
