An unmanned rice farm has been officially opened in Guigang City, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

This marks a significant milestone in the region's agricultural modernization efforts.

"By installing a real-time dynamic positioning platform on the agricultural machinery and setting the operation trajectory on the intelligent management and control platform, the margin of error in positioning can be confined to centimeters, thereby improving agricultural production. We have built intelligent management and control platforms to control drones, achieve unmanned farming, lower labor costs, and reduce training of agricultural machinery workers."

Modern machinery is also enhancing agricultural production across various parts of Guangxi.

Technicians in a rice production center in Pingnan County have successfully guided 22,000 farmers in adopting advanced mechanization technology. This has facilitated the cultivation of over 30,000 hectares of rice, resulting in an income increase of more than 3.2 million yuan (about 442,240 U.S. dollars).
