USA: Fatal 2-Vehicle Fiery Crash Into House and Hydrant in Leimert Park, LA

LAFD responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Obama Boulevard and 6th Avenue.

One vehicle came to a rest nearly a block away and caught fire.

The second vehicle sheared a fire hydrant and crashed into a house.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported three patients to a regional trauma center with unspecified injuries including a 30-year-old female, an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old female, reported Brian Humphrey, spokesperson for the LAFD.

One additional patient was determined deceased at the scene, according to Humphrey. Their age and gender were not immediately available.

The Los Angeles Police Department's South Traffic Division is handling the fatal crash investigation.
