This is the hilarious moment a dad dancing like Freddie Mercury while mowing the lawn realised his moves were being filmed by CCTV.

Melanie Pemberton’s husband Ady, 58, was mowing the lawn at home in Wrexham on April 27 when she tried to get his attention.

Amusing footage shows the moment Ady started parroting Freddie Mercury’s famous moves from the music video for ‘I Want to Break Free’.

Off camera, Melanie, 52, pointed out that his dancing was being filmed by their Ring camera, causing him to immediately stop while pretending to be embarrassed.

Melanie said: “I was trying to get Ady’s attention while he was mowing and he had his earbuds in.

“I was stood by the back door and was waving but I couldn't catch his attention, so I started to dance to Basement Jaxx and he was listening to Queen ‘I want to break free’.

“When he saw me dancing, he started dancing like Freddie Mercury with the hoover in the video.

“He stopped, did a shocked face and started mowing proper. But even this made me laugh because he pretends to be caught out and he does an exaggerated reaction.

“He is a funny guy. We both have the same sense of humour. Life is too short to be serious all the time. After all age is just a number.

“We always end up dancing or joking around. It's how we have fun. We laugh a lot and we have a good life and a great relationship.”
