The brand director of EX-Robot company announced that they have started mass production of humanoid robots, with an estimated output of around 500 units this year.

The video was filmed in the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province on May 6.

According to the official website of EX-Robot, the company is committed to building a cluster of robot-centric application scenarios, creating robot products widely used in the service industry across society.

EX-Robot is a world-leading manufacturer of lifelike humanoid robots, specialising in the research, production, manufacturing, and sales of humanoid robots, lifelike female robots, medical robots, government service robots, and service robots.

Humanoid robots are robots that mimic human appearance and behaviour. In simple terms, they look like humans, have coordinated limbs, and can think, act, and communicate like humans.

Achieving this is not easy; it involves a combination of knowledge from multiple disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, materials science, sensor technology, control technology, and AI.

Currently, domestically produced humanoid robots in mass production include robots with different characteristics and uses, such as lifelike female robots, nanny robots, and six-arm robots. These robots are designed to meet the diverse needs of households and businesses.

Nanny robots, in particular, have attracted attention as they are expected to help resolve conflicts between family care and work. They can assist with household chores, especially in households that need to care for children, the elderly, or the sick. Such robots may become important auxiliary forces, helping to alleviate the pressure of elderly care and social care.

According to the "Guiding Opinions on the Innovative Development of Humanoid Robots" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, China will vigorously develop the humanoid robot industry.

By 2025, China will achieve mass production of humanoid robots and demonstrate applications in special, manufacturing, and civil services fields. By 2027, the comprehensive strength of humanoid robot technology innovation and industrial ecology is expected to reach the world's advanced level. This means that humanoid robots will become a new growth engine for China's future economy.

With the gradual maturity of artificial intelligence technology and the rapid development of the robotics industry, humanoid robots are becoming one of the core elements of new qualitative productivity.

Goldman Sachs predicts that the humanoid robot market could reach $154 billion by 2035.
