On April 29, 2024, an adventurous couple embarked on a kayaking expedition at Mosquito Lagoon, departing from JB's Fish Camp in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. With no guide to lead the way, they ventured into the serene waters, unaware of the remarkable encounter awaiting them.

As they paddled through the lagoon's tranquil expanse, the couple found themselves surrounded by gentle giants – manatees gracefully gliding beneath the surface. However, what began as a peaceful interaction soon took an unexpected turn as the curious manatees displayed playful behavior, nudging and nudging the kayakers' vessel.

Info from Licensor: "My husband and I were kayaking with manatees at Mosquito Lagoon from JB’s Fish Camp in New Smyrna Beach, FL. We were alone, with no guide. The manatees didn’t want me to leave the lagoon and kept pushing me back. I thought they would flip my kayak. I recorded the entire event but unfortunately, it’s done in a very 'Blair Witch' style lol"
