USA: Multiple Vehicle Collision Southbound 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita, LA
05/13/2024 02:07 am (GMT-0700) | SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Location: southbound 14 Freeway, just north of Via Princessa off-ramp.
CHP officers were called to a multi-vehicle traffic collision blocking lanes. The LACoFD and AMR ambulance arrived at the scene and one person was transported to a local hospital by ambulance due to unknown injuries. Approximately six vehicles were damaged and towed. CHP had all lanes closed due to debris and to make access to firefighters.
The full closure from Sand Canyon Road lasted about 50 minutes until vehicles were pushed to the right shoulder to be towed away.
A red pickup truck was facing the wrong way and a trailer was also towed. It is unknown if the truck and trailer were the cause of the collision.
