Airshow crash
South African aerobatics and former Red Bull Air Race series pilot, Glen Dell has tragically died of his injures and burns in an aircraft crash at the Secunda Airshow, Mpumalanga.
The incident happened on the morning of Saturday the 12th of October during a display in his Red Bull branded Edge 300. His family later confirmed his death only a matter of hours after the incident.
This footage, taken from the crowd, shows the moment when his plane stalls and plummets to the ground to the horror of the onlookers. Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Dell later died of the injuries he sustained.
