A video has emerged of hundreds of wasps invading the wall of a house in Via dei Due Ponti, Rome.

The footage, filmed on May 26, shows the insects swarming around the building.

The filmer later wrote online: ''Now they are all inside the wall; it is like living next to an airport, they take off and land all day. '

''No one knows what to do because bees are protected by law in Italy.''

The whole wall was filled with wasps. This is how I found out because the noise was like a helicopter was flying in the garden. They got inside the wall and I start filming much later - they are 10 times more inside the wall. I made several shots at different time intervals
