Amusing footage of a man who was fined for taking his child on holiday during school term time paying the local authority in pennies.

The video, filmed in Telford, UK in June, shows the man taking £60 worth of 1ps and 2ps into the local authority offices.

He later wrote online: "I was fined by the local authority for taking my child on holiday during the term time.

"When I called up to explain there is no specific law, the person on the phone had quite a rude attitude, so I went one better and changed the fine sum into penny pieces."

"I went into my local council office and tipped the entire amount onto the counter," he continued.
