A driver on an ATV (All-terrain Vehicle) failed to negotiate a turn and ended up going over the top of the mountain. While the driver could be heard and stated he was unhurt fire rescue was need and dispatched to aid in bringing the individual to safety and evaluate his condition.

Rescue crews set up a 4:1 haul system to gain patient access. Units were on scene for almost 2 hours.

As a precaution the driver went to the hospital for evaluation.
The fire department also recovered his ATV after winching it several hundred feet back up the side of the mountain.

Chief 290 and 291 had command.
Responding to this incident included stations 160 and 170, Truck 290 and Shamokin Rescue 62.
