Footage of a bridge in Arkansas, USA failing to fall when demolition crews set off explosives to bring it down.

The video, filmed at around 10am on Tuesday morning, shows the Broadway Street Bridge over the Arkansas River in North Little Rock failing to fall when the explosives go off.

The old bridge was supposed to collapse into the water within 30 seconds of the demolition, but it stood strong.

The authorities eventually called in a barge and two tug boats to pull the bridge down later that afternoon.

We were watching the demolition of the Broadway Street Bridge over the Arkansas River in North Little Rock, Arkansas, U.S. The demolition was scheduled for 10am, and went off right on time. Unfortunately, the bridge did not come down as planned.
