Cyclist Hits Kid
My first official crash. Wet rims made the brakes all but useless, and steering in the wet while braking is a recipe for the front wheel to slip out from under me, and went into him at low speed
At first I thought I hit a six-year old but it turned out he was about 13 riding a six-year-old's bike. He leapt off the bike as I came into the side of it and fell on the ground. The kid kid and I were ok. He apologised and went about his way.
Looking back I think that the taxi driver might have given him the ok to cross despite my hi-viz top and very bright front light coming at them
