False Widow Spider on Bath Towel in November 2016
A False widow spider walks over the bath towel and you can see the markings on its abdomen. Has a white band with skull markings. These ones are a risk as they have a venomous bite.Here in the UK its now November and they still seem to be active. It is much warmer than it has been so they are still a problem to watch out for. Do not pick them up and be careful if you see one. They are thriving in the current climate and probably breeding. Insect spray has no affect on them as Ive tried but they still seem to move after as they have a strong body Armour on them. So best to squash or flush the spiders.
