My daughter is a chip off the ole block when it comes to our personalities and sense of humor. I had seen a father-daughter dance like this at another wedding and mentioned it to my daughter for her upcoming wedding and she loved the idea! She and I selected the songs and dance steps together. She practiced maybe 2 or 3 hours total in the last 3 weeks (she is a natural) while I had to practice in front of a mirror 2 or 3 hours each night (and still needed more practice). It started out with the normal slow dance then a scratched record sound starts off the surprise fast dance medley. It was a blast doing and something we will always remember and treasure. And what a way to start the dancing for a wedding reception - nobody left the dance floor until the very end.
