An inventor from the USA has found an ingenious way of keeping the app sensation ‘Flappy Bird’ alive.

Since being deleted by its creator earlier this month, the hugely popular mobile phone game has found a new lease of life in a cardboard box.

This video shows people playing engineer Fawn Qui’s DIY version and getting increasingly frustrated as they fail to complete it.

The project is an entry into the Hackathon event which takes place on the 24th of February in New York City..
