I was riding in our golf cart with my wife in our 55+ community when we saw the gator laying down in someone's carport. As I drove past it I figured it would be a cool picture of a gator parked under a carport. So I stopped and got outdo the golf cart while my wife stayed in with our dogs.
I was probably 30feet away taking pictures when he stood up and started walking away. I told my wife it must not like having its pictures taken. At that point I turned on the video. I followed it into the next carport were it just laid down from the walk. My Friend knocked on the door to tell them to stay inside. At that moment the gator got startled and toke off like a rocket. We were both surprised that nothing happened between the gator and the cat. The cat was cornered by the bushes in the carport.
