Golden, CO Severe Thunderstorm/Hailstorm (Lightning, HUGE hail destroys my car) 5/8/17
Mainly just started out as filming lightning, which is a small hobby of mine. I filmed the lightning in the sky as the oncoming storm approached, and was suddenly hit by a massive hailstorm, spawning golf ball sized hail. It took me by surprise as I'd never seen such a hailstorm, as brief as it was. There was immediate damage in the aftermath of the storm, including that of my personal car.
