We jump off the tourist view platform, & start flying after approx. 350ft vertical fall. the total vertical of the cliff is about 600ft. Ie. 250ft more = splat :) i get 'burbled' by my friend whom jumps right before me; meaning, his arm wing blocks my air, so i 'fall' into that vacuous airspace (this is actually very dangerous, some have died b/c it can send you out of control.) so you see me kind of swivel/bobble, that's me falling into empty air, but you just stay calm, keep your head down, & hopefully, fly through it without going into a 'flat spin' (an asymmetric out of control spin. aforementioned reason for death thing.) once flying, head towards glacier field, throw a corkscrew spin in open airspace, then fly thru all the glaciers at about 200km/hr, we call them 'glacier gates,' kind of self-explanatory. pop up after, throw parachute, hopefully it opens, if it does (lol,) fly back to the town of chamonix, land, coffee, repeat :)
