Massive elephant patrols safari campsite
Impressive footage of a large elephant wandering through a safari camp in Tanzania.
The video, filmed at Ngorongoro crater on June 7, shows the large animal marching nonchalantly through a series of tents before using its trunk to eat from a tree, while excited tourists watch in amazement.
The filmer later wrote online: "We were camping at Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania and suddenly [an] elephant came from the forest and walked though the camp.
"It chose the best path without touching any tents and went to eat some leaves from a tree in the middle of the campsite."
"After a moment of eating it continued its march and left the campsite and went back to the forest," she continued.
"Amazing moment and it was great to see this beautiful and peaceful animal from such a close distance".
