Oscar the English budgie enjoying a bath
Oscar loves having a bath, after a little persuasion you cant stop him. Budgies don't need to bathe unlike bigger birds, but they will enjoy it when they are hot or they are moulting. Oscar acts shy to begin with and then he jumps right in. To encourage budgies to enjoy a bath putting greenery in the water will encourage a natural behaviour. In the wild a budgie would bathe in the dewy grass in the morning.
