(Aftermath) Cyclist Runs Red Light Gets Hit By Car (WARNING! Graphic Content)

Have provided a slightly shorter clip providing greater insight into a tragic accident and its aftermath that transpired after a 32 year old male cyclist ran a red light (per the police) at an extremely busy Chicago intersection. Within the blink of an eye, a horrific collision with a moving car ensues, leaving the cyclist in critical condition.

The remorseful 22 year old female driver remained on the scene and was not cited by the police.

The mishap occurred on Tuesday, July 18th 2017 at approximately 5:45pm CST in the University of Chicago Illinois area- specifically the intersection of Roosevelt & Halsted during rush hour and was recorded from the car of a friend via his dashcam (KDLINKS X1 Full-HD).
