Wallaby on the loose in English countryside
Video has emerged of a rare sighting of wallaby in the English countryside.
In the video, filmed on September 6 in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, the marsupial can be seen crouched in front of a house gate.
"Hello skippy," the filmer says, before adding, "he doesn't where to go."
The wallaby then quickly hops away and disappears down the street.
Our filmer writes: "My girlfriend said a few weeks before that she had seen a kangaroo when she drove out of our driveway. Of course I laughed at her. Then I was making breakfast for the kids by the kitchen window when I looked out and saw it."
According to local media, a wallaby had recently broken free from a petting zoo in nearby Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire after somebody broke in and moved the animals.
