Aja's dry Xmas surprise!

Buy video

This is My daughter Aja's 2nd Xmas and sorry she isn't as shocked or surprised as I remembered her to be!!! But she did love that Christmas tree. I stayed up all night tidying the front room of toys, present debris and general two year old mess. Her dad had put up the Christmas tree earlier that evening and I helped with the decorations (because honestly he was struggling with the design...I knew what I wanted it to look like ok?) She woke up from her slumber at around 7:30am that Christmas morning (No I didn't put the Christmas tree up before then. lucky I even put one up, bar humbug!) And her dad brought her down for me, as I led them to the spectacle. As you can see from both their faces, neither had woken up excited with glee. :-/ Anyway, her first reaction was that all her toys had been moved to a new location (typical) and then the infamous delayed reaction to the tree and the presents. In fact, As I remember it, she was quite dry with the presents too and only opened one. I still have one unopened which is a robo dog ( she had a slight obsession with dogs at the time) but I remembered that it was actually for 3 year olds so I have saved it until this Christmas and I'm expecting a much more animated surprise! I'm also re-presenting her with a gold bracelet that she nonchalantly ignored the first time around too. Don't you just LOVE Christmas? hehehe
