Tourist films Table Mountain climbers moments before tragic accident
Video has emerged of three people climbing Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa on January 1.
According to reports, rescue teams were sent to Table Mountain after an accident involving three climbers occurred on Monday (January 1) afternoon.
They reportedly rescued a female tourist alive on Monday and recovered the bodies of two other climbers - a male tourist and his guide - on Tuesday (January 2).
As a result of the rescue effort, the cablecars from which this footage was shot were shut for several hours, leaving hundreds of tourists stranded on top of the mountain.
The filmer of the video told Newsflare she believes the climbers visible in the footage could be the ones involved in the accident later that day.
