Building fire Gilberton, Pennsylvania
Shortly after 10:00 hrs. SCCC dispatch a working building fire at 128 Main Street, Gilberton.
The first in officer upgraded the call to 2nd alarm status with a TTF (tanker task Force) due to several frozen hydrants in the area. With a temperature of 5 F -15 C at the time of the fire a local church opened its doors to help warm firefighters.
The homeowner needed to be restrained after he tried to reenter the burning home to save his pets.
One person is being aided by the red cross after being left homeless.
