An angry cyclist rants at a driver for nearly running him off the road.

The footage, captured on January 30 in Southampton, shows the car overtaking the cyclist dangerously close.

''Jesus Christ, what are you doing?'' the man on the bike yells at the driver.

The driver seems to stop as if she was yielding, however, she keeps driving along the road right next to the cyclist.

The cyclist can't contain his anger and hits the car's back window.

'You are breaking the law.''

''Get out of the road,'' he screams.

The car then speeds up and overtakes.

Later on, the cyclist can be seen confronting the female driver and calling her a 'dangerous' driver.

Subsequently she paced my every move, if I slowed she slowed - if I accelerated, she accelerated. As she built revs so aggressively I was worried she would ram me if I took primary again, which is how I ended up pinned to the kerbside by her vehicle. I felt extremely threatened as the temperature was below freezing, the road surface is extremely broken up and I need much more than the ~30cm or so she left me to maneuver if I come across holes or ice - especially after I came off the bike two weeks ago.

After her initial brake check fight-or-flight took over. I tried to go around but she blocked me. Feeling on the verge of panic I slapped her window again and tried to get her to move forward but she continued to pace me.

Once she finally passed she paced ahead of me at around 15mph, holding up a large number of other cars behind both of us. I shouldn't have stopped at the end but there was so much adrenaline in my system I wasn't really in a good position to make decisions. Once I was sure I'd left her behind in traffic I had to get off the bike and relax before continuing my ride to work.
