A man appears to transform into a dog after doing a simple trick with a bed sheet in a hilarious viral clip.

Video captured on March 29 shows how Twitter user Jake Younger stands in a doorway and throws a bed sheet in the air, disappearing once it falls to the ground.

But in this version of the trick, Jake's dog is standing by his side – giving the impression he has transformed into the canine.

“I saw somebody do the sheet trick on YouTube and I wanted to have a go at it,” he said.

“My dog had been following me around all day and when I tried to do the sheet trick she was next to me, so I had an idea and I decided I’d at least just try to see what it would look like,” he added.

The video gained more than 300,000 views on Twitter and almost 4,000 retweets.

But some users were disappointed with the quality of the magic trick.

“Love that the dog just gives it away looking at the guy,” wrote one user.
