Safari goer films incredible close encounter with curious leopard that sniffs their shoes
While on safari in the Okavango Delta in northern Botawana, our tracker came upon this young leopard resting after a recent impala kill that was about 20 yards away. As we were viewing the leopard about 15 feet away he got up and approached the vehicle where I was sitting with my legs crossed. Our tracker said “don’t move , be still“So I didn’t. I continued to video the leopards activity the whole time. He did scratch me, but just with one Hafez claws, as if he were testing the skin.
