Floods In Hobart, Tasmania!
It had rained all day on Thursday the 10th which never happens in Tassie. Just before bedtime with the relentless rain still falling we then heard the thunder and lightening. It lasted for so long and got so loud it woke us from our sleep. Something compelled us to take peek outside at 1am and thats when we saw the new river running along the fence of our house. Water was flooding into our neighbours house, unfortunately we couldn't cross the steam to help.
The next morning the damage was clear. some people were shovelling out their house and others we clearing the drains. Fish feeders had washed up on Kingston beach and trees had fallen all around. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
