+CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN BLEEPED+

This is the moment a man has a lucky escape after coming too close to a huge storm.

The footage, captured from the inside of a car, shows the man driving towards the storm - which can be seen ramming through a field.

Once the car is close to the eye of the storm, debris begins to violently hit the vehicle.

The man then speeds up down the road and manages to escape.

The filmer writes: ''I’m aware now that this was not a tornado event in that there was no rotation on the ground or in the sky (none that I could see anyway).

''At the time, I really couldn't tell what was behind the wall of dust. I was intimidated.''

The clip was filmed in North Atlantic, Iowa, on April 13.
