This is the heartwarming moment the father of a special needs girl engages in some serious dad dancing to make her smile.

Kayla Holness, 13, is wheelchair-bound and unable to speak after suffering several strokes as a child, according to her family.

But video filmed on April 8 shows how Kayla's father, Vernon, can bring a smile to her face with his dance moves.

The family, from Queens, New York, writes: "She suffers from sickle cell disease which caused the strokes.

"She lives as normal a life as possible and communicates with her eyes and facial gestures.

"She's a fraternal twin to her brother and him and her two sisters all help.

"Music makes her so happy so we do all we can just to make her smile."

Kayla and her father share a "special bond", according to the Holness family.
