Crowds of photographers and interested New Yorkers gathered to witness the annual "Manhattanhenge" phenomenon in the city.
Video shows people taking photographs on May 30 as the setting sun lines up with 42nd street in Midtown in Manhattan.
The occurance – a play on words with the Stonehenge formation in the UK – happens for one or two days every spring when the sun lines up with Manhattan's famous grid-like street system.
