Staffordshire Bull Terrier George gets his own celery from the fridge!
George The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was born 9th May 2016 and lives happily with his Mum & Dad in a small town in Lancashire, UK.
George's story started when he moved into his new home at 16 weeks old as a curious little puppy with a big attitude. His Mum had been brought up with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier since she was 8 years old and has always found she had a strong mutual understanding when it came to being able to communicate with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed.
The day after George settled into his new home his Mum taught him all the basics. He would sit, lay down, rollover and give paw within the first three days and be fully toilet trained by day seven.
Shortly after his Mum became poorly with an excrutiating back problem which made day to day life difficult. George then used this opportunity to step in and help in all the ways he could. If you are not familiar with George - he assists in the house by performing unusual chores to help his Mum.
To name a few, George can tidy his own toys away, seek a ringing phone and bring it to his Mum, pass the TV remote, help unload or load the washing machine, bring a bottle of water from the fridge and close the door, pass his Mum's shoes when asked, find his harness & lead, retrieve socks from the drawer in the bedroom and bring them downstairs, turn the lights on and many more...
George's Mum started to share some videos with her work colleagues, showing them all the chores George helped her with around the home. They persuaded her to upload George's videos onto the internet and almost immediately it was apparent that George was greatly received in the world of social media. Ever since he has found thousands of adoring followers from all over the world and is grateful for all of their lovely comments.
More recently, George has completed filming for ITV Studios although at present he is not at liberty to reveal any further details.
George discovered he had a love for celery sticks one day after helping his Mum to eat them and as he could already retrieve water on command it didn't take him long to work out that the celery was also in the fridge!
